Welcome to our new house by the sea nestled in the mountains of Nyksund. This unique property is situated on the outskirts of the famous fishing village Nyksund, in the district of Vesterålen. It is also close to the open ocean with Greenland being the nearest land directly to the West.
We offer four bedrooms with comfortable beds for eight people, two beautiful bathrooms and stunning views from all rooms in the house. The house is ideal for those who want that little bit extra and we promise that your stay will be an experience you will remember fondly for many years to come.
When not enjoying the many activities by the sea, guests have the option of hiking in the majestic mountains, visiting a gallery or just relaxing at a quaint café or restaurant in Nyksund.
An added bonus sought by many visitors to this part of the world is a view of the northern lights and midnight sun which can be experienced from the house.
The house offers something for everyone during all seasons of the year. In the winter, you can sit in the living room watching fishermen out at sea. During the summer, the sun and the sea create new images throughout the day. The springtime offers a rich birdlife and the autumn is alive with spectacular colors. You are sure to find a season that offers a unique experience for your visit.
THE HOUSE FACILITIES
The house is totally renovated in 2016 an has a very high standard. On the approximately 150 m2, you will find:
* Downstairs: bedroom, bathroom, utility room and hallway / living.
* Main floor: entrance, kitchen with all facilities and living room with gas fireplace. Panoramic windows.
* 2nd floor: large bathroom and three bedrooms
* TV – WiFi - Parking
A nice outdoor area with table, chairs and benches, and the opportunity to eat outside.
We also have a campfire pan where you can make food.
