The Juvberg Trail Finnskogen
Juvbergsløyfa is an extension of Posåsrunden northwards. This hike can easily be called a hill walk, as it takes you over high ridges in Åsnes Finnskog. Great nature and nice views. Demanding bike ride 43.3 kilometres 2 h 30 min Round trip 472 vertical metres in total Season: Apr - Oct
The route climbs steeply and heads northwards to Halsjøen, following the Swedish border, before continuing southwards along the Flisa river. From Juvberget to Haldammen, the cycle tour follows the route of the Finnskog Trail/Finnskogleden with its fine viewpoints. The terrain here is somewhat demanding. Mountain bikes are recommended.
At Haldammen there is a picnic area by the old rafting cabins, and there are also many nice picnic areas/shelters along the Flisa river.
You can park at Kafe Finnskog by Vermundsjøen.
