“Have you seen our beautiful beaches? Havikstranda, Lomsesanden, Kviljosanden, Hauestranda og Bausje – I can recommend them all!

I use our beaches all year round and every trip is a new experience. My walks on the Lista beaches gives me a feeling of freedom, happiness and a sense of being. I love the ocean! I’m born by the ocean and love to spend time in and around the ocean, sailing, swimming, sitting in the dunes listening to the sound of the waves rolling in and hit the beach, I love looking at it.

I enjoy the scent of the sea, the taste of salt on my lips after a summerdip. It is wonderful to have seawater in your hair, salt in your ears and sand between your toes after a relaxing day at the beach. That is teh essence of happiness”.

Farsund has 10km of long, beautiful and striking beaches to offer those who want to enjoy the closeness to the ocean and have fun by the beach. Here you can go for long walks, swim, play and watch the birdlife. The Lista Beaches are also the best in the country for windsurfing and kiting.

Lomsesanden is one of the most popular beaches, with is it shallow water it is perfect to the kids. From Lomsesanden you can walk over to Loshavn by route of Kirkeskaret or go the opposite direction and head towards Husebysanden around Einarsneset. Einarsneset and the many trails around it is popular all year round and in all kinds of weather. The many trails will allow you to take many different paths and give you new experiences. The many small beaches and cove gives you the opportunity to have your own private beach. From Einarsneset one then moves onto Husebysanden and from there on one can continue along the Listabeaches all the way to Lista.

Because of Lista’s rich plant- and birdlife large part of the beaches are naturreserves and windsurfing and kiteing is prohibited in certain parts and dogs must be on a leash.
