Godøyfjellet mountain in Giske har got paths of various difficulty from Godøy and Alnes up to Storehornet peak, at 497 metres above sea level. Half way up to the top lies Alnesvatnet, a fishing lake abundant with fish. From the top of the mountain you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Giske municipality, the Sunnmøre Alps, Runde and Ålesund.
Godøyfjellet offers good family-friendly hiking opportunities. You can reach the top from both the north and the south sides, and in summer you can combine this with a visit to the lighthouse at Alnes and Godøy Kystmuseum.
