The Museums garden
In the Museum Garden you will find many different flowers, perennials, shrubs and trees in a beautiful green botanical garden, right in the center of Bergen.
Although the University Garden is not that big, it is a botanical gem. Here you will find a kitchen garden with food plants and spices, several flower beds, a mountain and rock garden with beautiful flowers, a systematic arboretum with over a hundred trees, a water garden, a tropical greenhouse and a little victoria house.
You will find about 3000 different plants from around the world in our botanical garden in the city center.
Since the 1880s, the garden has developed to appear as an extension of the exhibitions inside the museum.
