The paths offer a unique walking experience, weather you want a one day hike or make it all the way to Trondheim.

The Pilgrim Paths in Follo

The Pilegrim Paths in Follo south of Oslo takes you through a landscape with the Oslofjord and the forest and its passing rivers, lakes, and farmland.

We start at the boarder of the Østfold County and are heading towards Son along the river Såna.
Here traces of the ancient place Labo can be seen across the river. The path continues through the forest to Vestby church. Then the path follows a farm road in open landscape along fields to Ås. Now you will cross the park surrounding the Norwegian University of Life science with its old buildings on the way towards the church.
Then the path makes its way towards Årungen and hits Kongeveien at Nordby. At Nøstvetmarka there are traces of the old cottages. The path passes the golf course at Greverud and takes you to Sofiemyr.
Then the path follows the old road across Grønliåsen and in to Oslo. On your way across Grønnliåsen you might see the remains of Iron Age burials. From Oslo you can make your way towards Trondheim taking either the western path across Ringerike or the eastern path across Romerike.
