The Posthuset has an ideal location, right in the waterfront of the exciting Bergsfjord.
The old Posthuset at Skaland on the far side of Senja, about 60km from Finnsnes – has recently been restored and converted into a cosy Lodge. The Posthuset has an ideal location, right in the waterfront of the exciting Bergsfjord. It contains ten beds in the attic (sleeping alcoves), a long table in the kitchen and shared shower and toilet in the corridor. In addition, there is a nice open porch facing the fiord and an outside barbecue area. The Posthuset is the base of the Senja-expeditions. In addition to this, the base had a Zodiac expedition boat that we use for exploring Bergsfjord.
