The rest area Juvo in Suldal
Juvo rest area is located along the Norwegian Scenic Route Ryfylke, Route 13. The rest area is situated in a dramatic landscape just north of Nesflaten in Suldal.
Juvo rest area is connected to the historic road built by the Kvelven tunnel, along the mountainside in Brattlandsdalen.
Here you can experience the historic road and the steep landscape in a safe manner. From the two viewpoints, you can admire the exciting rock formations in the gorge and the spectacular river rushing past.
If you take a short walk along the old road, you will come to Kvelven Tunnel, one of the first road tunnels built in Norway.
