Excellent long-distance ride through gentle terrain and beautiful scenery. Perfect for team technique training. Lillehammer – Follebu – Forset – Svatsum – Espedalen – Skåbu – Vinstra – Ringebu – Øyer – Lillehammer
With Lillehammer Station as starting point, ride south along Bryggegata and onto Vingnesbrua bridge. Follow route 253 until you reach Joker by Jørstadmoen. Turn left onto route 315 (Baklivegen), and continue to Segalstad Bru. Make a left turn onto route 255, and ride via Forset, Svatsum, Espedalen and Skåbu to Vinstra.
At Vinstra, turn right onto route 256 and continue to Søre Lia. Go straight ahead onto route 319, and follow this to Ringebu. Turn right onto route E6, and continue to Fåvang. Make a left turn onto route 384, and then turn right onto route 319 in Fåvang town centre.
Continue across the river and up the first hill. Turn left onto route 319, and continue to Tretten. Make a left turn onto route 254. Immediately after the bridge, turn right and follow the old E6 through Skarsmoen and onto route 312 towards Tingberg. At the roundabout, take route 319 and ride across the river. As your reach the T-junction at the top, keep left and continue along route 319 towards Fåberg. Keep left towards Storhove, and continue along route 312 back to Lillehammer Station.
Excellent ride in either direction, but the most common is clockwise as described above.
