Mariann Benonisen and Stein Tore Johansen has for many years run pub and restaurant on Værøy. Both come from fishing families with long traditions of respectively Værøy and Sørvågen where they have grown up with and closeness to nature and the sea has to offer.
The hospitality, the joy and love of good food and local food traditions are the mainstay of Restaurant Lofoten.
Brygga, the former boathouse (wharf and fish landing) houses the restaurant, bar, conference and training center, as well as several guest rooms. Towards the end of the nineteenth century was building north of Å, Moskenes. Then it was built up in Hell, on the south tip of Moskenesøya, where it remained until 1954. After another move, the building was used as fish landing and stockfish Stock Å.
RESTAURANT AND PUB
Fresh produce tastes best restaurant located on the 1st floor, so to speak, right above the sea with a great view of the boats and the sea. Our specialties are a large selection of seafood delicacies. In the daytime we offer buffet with a choice "simple" dishes. In the evening we offer a larger menu A la Carte. The pub is situated adjacent to the restaurant. On special occasions or at sporting events turned big screen at if guests wish. During the summer season we arrange regular dance evenings. On hot summer days there are also outdoor dining.
