The Tur Shop
"Tur" is the Norwegian word for "Hike", and the shop offers a broad range of products like jackets, clothing, tools and equipment for your hiking experience.
Among other brands, Tur offer a broad collection of jackets and outerwear from Scandinavian Explorer and Didriksons. These are both quality brands which are inspired by nature and the Norwegian spirit of exploration. We also have the popular foldable bags and backpacks from SeaToSummit, along with several more practical and lightweight products for your hiking experience. If you struggle to keep warm on a cold Norwegian winter (or summer..) day, you can also find the popular Islender-sweaters from Norlender, the Marius-sweater or other quality designs in 100% wool.
The shop is centrally located on the famous Bryggen in Bergen, only a couple minutes’ walk from the Tourist Information and Fish Market. You can also have your taxes back via Global Blue Tax-Free Refund. Many of our employees have an international background and can help you in both Norwegian and English, and some also in Spanish, German or Polish.
