The Valdres Railroad

The 109 kilometres railway from Eina to Fagernes was opened in 1906.

In 1988, the traffic in Valdres was closed down, and the last regular train travelled from Fagernes 31 December 1988.

A switch locomotive built by Kockum in Sweden in 1952, with a weight of 20 tons, was in use at Fagernes station area until the traffic was stopped.
