This trip should be reserved for the day when the weather forecast is good, your condition is excellent and your rucksack is filled with extra clothing, food and other treats.
We recommend the red-marked trail towards Auversvatn, then a detour to Maurliflotti before you proceed around Nordre Auversvasseggi and down to Hovden again.
On your way down, you may prolong the trip by including the Hyttenuten and Lundane trails. You will then have completed almost 25 km at Austheia (the Eastern Hills).
