Overview
Details

Cruise in to the Nærøyfjord, right in the UNESCO World Heritage landscape and join a guided hike along the beautiful fjord. Snowy mountains that extend up to 1700 meters altitude, and a fjord which is 250 meters at it's narrowest point, is a breathtaking experience.

The guided hike goes along the Postal road, a historic route that was used to record driving in winters between the years 1660 to 1860. The road has stunning views of the Nærøyfjord, the tall mountains and beautiful villages on the other side of the fjord.

Today The Historical Postal road is a nice hike of about 6 km. While enjoying the magnificent scenery during the 2.5 hour long hike tour, the guide tells you stories from the place that has been inhabited since the Viking Age.

The tour starts/ends in Gudvangen. If you want to travel from/to Flåm you can book the shuttle bus between Flåm and Gudvangen here. Just add shuttle bus to your shopping basket together with The World Heritage Fjord Hike.

The package includes boat roundtrip Nærøyfjord, guiding along the Postal Road and entrance to the museum at Styvi.

Departure from: Gudvangen
Days: Monday, Friday
