Grand Hotel Åsgårdstrand
Grand Hotel Åsgårdstrand occupies an idyllic position near the marina in Åsgårdstrand, with a panoramic view of Oslo Fjord. Åsgårdstrand is regarded as being an "artist's town" and a gem in eastern Norway. Edvard Munch's "The girls on the bridge" was painted just near the hotel.
Grand Hotel Åsgårdstrand is situated only a one hour drive from Oslo and 30 minutes from Sandefjord Airport Torp. There are bus connections to Tønsberg from Oslo and from Tønsberg to Åsgårdstrand. The hotel has 78 large og newly refurbished rooms.
Food and drink at the hotel
The restaurant is proud of its good cuisine, and offers a wide range of wines and is fully licensed. As a guest in the restaurant, you can enjoy panoramic views of Åsgårdstrand and the Oslo Fjord. During the summer months our outdoor terrace is open, where you also can enjoy a drink or a good meal.
In 2018 the new summer restaurant Grand Brygge opened at the pier.

With the idyllic location of hotel, we recommend a stroll in Åsgårdstrand with the fjord as the backdrop. There are 150 meters to the nearest beach, and also walking distance to Edvard Munch's house. Nearby you will also find Lefdals Riding Centre and Midgard Viking Centre.
