Thon Hotel Vettre is located in a rural and quiet setting in Asker, only a 20-minute drive from central Oslo. Here you can enjoy the proximity to the sea, and walk along the coastal cultural path to the idyllic Konglungen and Vollen. Thon Hotel Vettre has conference facilities for 600 people in 21 conference rooms. All our meeting rooms and conference rooms have large windows that make them light and airy, as well as all the necessary technical aids that are expected of a modern conference hotel.
The hotel has 155 rooms, of which 18 are dormitories and several of the rooms are large family rooms and most have a terrace. You get here via the air train or local train from Asker station or bus that stops along the main road above the hotel.
At the hotel you will find many small and pleasant seating areas in the common areas, large indoor pool, saunas and fitness rooms.
Thon Hotel Vettre is known for its high quality of food and service. We are constantly developing new dinner menus according to seasonal ingredients. The hotel has its own a la carte restaurant. Here, most of the food is prepared on a charcoal grill. The hotel has a beautiful outdoor area, many green spots and a large terrace, perfect for summer endings. Are you going to arrange a confirmation or a wedding dinner? Or maybe a reunion? Try Vinterhagen. This cozy room seats 40 people for a nice dinner. If it's cool, we fire in the fireplace. If you are more than 40 people, we recommend our banquet hall, with room for 200 guests. Here you will find the stage, screen, good sound system, and projector for any slide show.
The colorful bar is open in the evening every day except Sundays. Here you can enjoy good drinks and dance to varied music.
The hotel has parking for up to 170 cars right outside the hotel, as well as 6 charging stations for electric cars.
Thon Hotel Vettre offers 18 new rooms for weekly, monthly or long-term rentals The rooms are 27 m² and contain a large bathroom with shower, kitchenette, sofa with coffee table, and desk. The kitchen has a dishwasher, 2 hotplates with induction, sink, microwave with baking function, kettle, as well as various kitchen utensils, cutlery, cups and glasses. All apartments are located on the ground floor with their own terrace. The apartments are in the hotel building on the property.
