Mush your own dog sledge with Alaskan Huskies together with our experienced Svalbard guides. Feel and make your own adventure in the Arctic nature, we go in small groups to give you the best experience possible! Full moon trips: Nov 11-16 Dec 11-16 Jan 10-15

Accompanied by dogs and our experienced guides you will travel through the beautiful landscape of Spitsbergen, where you can fully enjoy the silence and the magnificent arctic nature.
You will be picked up at your Hotel by our guide. Together with the guide and the group, you go through today’s route and needed equipment. After 10 minutes car ride, you will arrive to Trapper's Station situated in Bolterdalen, where our 90 friendly Alaskan huskies are eager to meet you. Our guide will introduce the principle of dogsledding and help you to harness your own team. On this trip, two persons share one dog team, and can take turns in driving. We mush into Bolterdalen valley. Back at the husky kennel, all participants will help to take care of their own teams. Before heading back to town you have chance to look around at authentic Trapper's Station with many interesting items from trapping times.

PRICE: Adults NOK 1.290 and children under 12 years NOK 645 

DEPARTURES: Every day from snowfall until end of May

MINIMUM AND AGE LIMIT: 2 persons and 6 years

PICK-UP: At 9 am and 4 pm from your hotel

DURATION: Approx. 4 hours

INCLUDED: Guided dogsledding trip, two persons sharing one sledge, thermal suit, boots, gloves, goggles, balaclava and hat, hot drinks and biscuits after the trip.

DIFFICULTY: Moderate, suitable for anyone with normal physical condition. No previous knowledge required.
