The venerable 19th-century inn is situated in scenic and historic surroundings of Tjøtta, approximately 40 km from Sandnessjøen along the Coastal Highway. Not far from here, you can visit the Petter Dass Museum and the Alstahaug medieval church, a gallery, Tjøtta International War Cemetery, and the famous mountain range, The Seven Sisters. A ferry ride will take you to the coffee roastery on Forvik and further on to Brønnøysund, or you can take a direct ferry to Vega.
