Hike through lush forest landscape to the Torsnesvatnet lake.

Starting point

Drive to Torsnes, 7 km south of Jondal centre. Then continue up to the end of a local road (see map).



About the trail

Hiking through a lush landscape on the northern side of Lake Torsnesvatnet. There are many summer farm houses and cabins at Torsnesstølen at the eastern end of the lake.



Parking: At the end of the local road passing Stølheim/Mjøsstølen.

Parking fee: free, toll road NOK 50 (cash)

Length: 4 km (one way)

Total ascent: 80 meters

Total walking time: 3 hours

Season (average year): May - November
