Embark on a genuine trapper's evening in the Arctic countryside. Enjoy a 2-course meal and learn about the lives and traditions in Svalbard. Visit the replica of a traditional trapper's station, which is also the home of our 100 husky dogs.
Join us for dinner in Bolterdalen, around 10 km from Longyearbyen. Take part in a traditional Arctic meal and learn more about the stories roaming in Svalbard. While exploring in the dark season your chances of seeing northern lights are good, due to the location out of range of the artificial city lights.
Visit Basecamp Trapper’s Station and see how the trappers were self-dependent in the harsh Arctic nature. Study the artefacts and the equipment used while hunting for seals, reindeer, arctic fox and polar bears until it was protected in 1973.
This adventure may also be combined with dogsledding.
