Trollavassnipen is the highest peak in Sveio at 432 metres above sea level. It offers great views in several directions - on fine days you can see almost from Bergen to Stavanger!

The summit can be reached from several directions: Einstapevoll, Haugsgjerd, Eidsvåg and Holsvika outdoor area.

The hike from Einstapevoll starts through the gate on the east side of the road before the school. The first part of the trail climbs steeply through the woods, but after a while you can rest on a nice outcrop with great views to the west. Continue on a good trail until the terrain flattens out and the trail turns southwards. The path from Haugsgjerd enters here from the north. Keep a close eye on the path, as you need to turn left from the valley floor and head up the ridge towards the groove. Now the view really begins. From the top there is a great panoramic view of all the islands in Sunnhordland, with Siggjo on Bømlo and Stovegolvet on Stord as prominent landmarks. Car park: Einstabøvoll school. Walking time: approx. 3 hours return.
