Join the local guides to explore the blue ice world of the Tunsbergdal glacier, who is placed in the end of the Sognefjord. This is the longest glacier arm in Norway. In small groups we travel trough remote areas of the Jostedal Glacier National Park, were we rarely meet other groups
We travel by boat up the glacier lake.
The path from the lake up to the glacier goes in easy terrain close to the wild glacier river. After a short rest next to our tent, we cross the boarder into the Jostedal Glacier National Park.
We have crampons, ice axe, harnesses and rope as equipment for everybody on the ice.
We are walking alongside deep crevasses and under tall icetowers while we are exploring the blue ice world for about 1,5 hours.
Back in the tent it is time to have lunch. We make some coffee, and take some time to enjoy the nature, before we return to the boat.
