Join Rogaland Aktiv on this two-days' mini expedition in the Ryfylke archipelago. This tour is not for beginners but for those who have some experience in kayaking. Participants must know about rescue techniques, be familiar with paddling in waves and have experience in camping outdoors in tent.  Day 1: Arriving Kalvøy The guide will meet you outside the tourist information in Stavanger city centre at 9.30 am and walk you to the speed boat, a 10 minutes walk. This 30-minutes ferry ride is quite an adventure. The boat moors at several islands before ending up at Kalvøy, which is the final destination and starting point for the kayak trip. At Kalvøy, the guide wil show you to the changing facilities to put on drysuits before kayaking. After a safety brief, we enter our kayaks and start the mini expedition. From day one, we can guarantee you nice scenery. We pass beautiful seahouses and white beaches. We eat lunch at a beach. When arriving the base camp at Kalvøy, there will be a nice barbeque dinner in the evening.  Day 2: Heading eastwards After breakfast we head east towards the famous Lysefjord. The distance this day could be quite challenging if waves and wind. On our way to the final destination, we pass small bays and great nature. If we are lucky, we end up in Lauvvik, which will be our final destination. At Lauvvik we enter the very nice restaurant near by the beach, Bakernes Paradis. After dinner a bus will take you back to Stavanger city centre.
