Tyskenghatten mountain is Leka municipality's second highest peak on the boundary between Nærøy, Leka and Bindal municipalities. The trail is marked from road 771 at Sørgutvikvatnet. The view from the top is formidable !

Difficulty: Medium.
The first bit is quite steep, and then there is a steady climb up the gentle mountainside. You will find a nice rest area between three ponds by "Olaslåtten". The view from the top is formidable! Stick to the marked trail. Wear good footwear and wear windproof clothing in case the weather changes quickly.
