Unique accommodation at Wergelandshaugen!

We have 4 unique and modern microhouses, each themed around one of the 4 elements: air, fire, earth, and water. You can travel together as a group of up to 20 people, or rent a microhouse for one to six people. The property has its own café where you can enjoy yourself from Thursday to Sunday, and it is possible to order breakfast in your microhouse.
Tourists and locals passing through can find a unique and comfortable retreat. The exclusive work group can unwind in a creative and beautiful environment, drawing inspiration for new ideas and perspectives.

Everyone, regardless of culture, interests, and style, will feel welcomed and are invited to immerse themselves in art and enjoy delicious, local food from our café "Amalies Have.

The garden at Wergelandshaugen has been awarded the 2024 Garden Culture Prize by the Norwegian Garden Society. The microhouses offer beautiful views of the scenic surroundings. Walk around in our sculpture park and be inspired by renowned artists. The area offers wonderful hikes, the chance to find your own emeralds in the Emerald Mines, horseback riding in Gullverket, an excursion with Skibladner (during the season it visits Eidsvoll), or a visit to the Eidsvoll Manor House from 1814.

Wergelandshaugen is perfectly located by Eidsvoll station, just 9 minutes by train directly to Oslo Airport Gardermoen.

Upon arrival by train, Wergelandshaugen is only a short walk from Eidsvoll station. If you wish to combine an excursion with Skibladner and an overnight stay at Wergelandshaugen, you can easily walk approximately 10 minutes from the Skibladner pier to Wergelandshaugen.
