Vaset Camping

Vasetsenteret Camping is located in Vaset, Vestre Slidre, approx. 20 km from Fagernes, along the "Panoramavegen" road between Valdres and Hemsedal.

Vaset is a beautiful mountain farm area with extensive high plateaus excellent for cycling, mountains up to 1700 meters in elevation for hiking and lots of lakes and rivers for fishing - a unique outdoor area. The cycling route Mjølkevegen passes through the area and near the camp ground. 

During the winter season there are more than 120 prepared cross-country trails, and from the camp ground it is 1500 m to the alpine center: Vaset Skiheiser with ski lift and a unique tobboggan slope. 

Vaset Camping has a sheltered location and great views, 70 motorhome spaces, facilities as showers, WC, laundry room, kitchen area, and depot for caravan toilets and an area for tents. Check-in is in the adjacent Joker supermarked. Next door you find the sports store with bicycle rental and workshop and close by there are Sekskanten and Vasetstølen with dining services. Canoe rental on the lake.
