In the inner parts of Fredriksten fortress we find Vertshuset Curtisen, with a fantastic kitchen on historic ground.

In the middle of Frederikstens fortress in Halden is Vertshuset Curtisen. The house was built in empire style in 1754 designed by the famous architect BN Garbenstegninger. In teh restaurant they work with regional raw goods from Østfolds pantry. In the commandant's quarters they have a wine cellar and conference rooms.
