Vestkantbadet

After five years of restoration, Vestkantbadet has finally reopened its doors.

The historic baths from 1932 have a unique and listed Art Deco-style interior. During the restoration work, great emphasis was placed on preserving the details and letting them shine in new splendour. Benches, changing cubicles and the iconic mosaic by Per Krohg in the pool area have been returned to the original. In addition to the restoration of the baths, Vestkantbadet has also been expanded with more treatment rooms and Sommerro's own gym.

Spread over a total of 1,400 square metres, you will now find the pool with the original women's and men's saunas, the Roman bath with a cold plunge tub, an infrared sauna, a wellness shop and a fitness centre. Vestkantbadet is the perfect place whether you want to start the day with a swimming session in historic surroundings, take a break from the hectic everyday life with a massage or cosmetic treatment, or simply relax in the sauna. If you want to fit in a workout, the fitness centre is fully equipped and open to members and overnight guests of the hotel.
