Welcome to Vik i Sogn, which is a relatively new destination for boaters. Vik is a cultural treasure with Sylvringen's guided tours at Vikøyri, Hopperstad Stavkyrkje, Hove Steinkyrkje and you get a taste of Gamalosten wich is the Old Cheese.
Plenty of access to good water. Somewhat limited access to electricity, but plenty for charging and lighting. Our guests have access to a shower and washing machine at Vik Camping, which is close to the harbour.
Vik has easily accessible great hiking trails (Sylvringen) in the centre. A hiking trail that takes you to our well-known churches. Otherwise, there is easy access to the mountain with snow and hiking trails in beautiful nature.
Strandsitjarstaden in the center has been upgraded with a beach promenade and "Sydenstrand", a swimming lagoon with white sand and a diving tower!
Vik Stadium is new and a top facility for training. Tennis court and soccer field.

Wind conditions
Winds from the northeast and southeast can be troublesome. Only the wind - behind the breakwater, waves are not a problem.
Port depth
Good depth, 3 m.+. Shallow at the landing jetty. At breakwater 15m +.
