A cosy hotel and traditional guesthouse serving homemade local food.

Vollan Gjestestue is located in Nordkjosbotn, around one hour's drive from Tromsø. Here you will find modern hotel rooms, a traditional cafe, meeting and function rooms, and great hiking opportunities right outside the door.

All hotel rooms have a private bathroom, and free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms. A breakfast buffet is included in your stay.

Hotel guests also have free access to the local fitness centre nearby and free parking.

There are several hiking opportunities directly from the hotel. During winter, Vollan Gjestestue also offers snowshoe and pole hire, as well as guided snowshoe tours starting from the hotel.

The cafe first opened on 4 July 1948, after Gudrun "Guri" Lydersen took over the property. Today, Vollan Gjestestue is run by the third generation of the Lydersen family, with a focus on homemade food and local ingredients.

Vollan Gjestestue offers several room types in the main building, Tømmerstua and a separate building with apartment rooms. The apartment rooms are located around 600 metres from the main building and have a private entrance, bathroom and kitchenette.

You will also find a lobby with a bar and reception, a cafe, meeting and function rooms, and facilities for both individual guests and groups.
