Right in the heart of Voss town center, you'll find Vossabakst - an artisan bakery where everything is made from scratch, every single day. The smell of freshly baked bread fills the air from early morning, coffee grinders hum steadily, and the counter fills up with fresh pastries, cakes and open-faced sandwiches throughout the day. Vossabakst is Voss's only artisan bakery!
Every day we bake between 70 and 80 different products in our bakery. The breads are baked in a stone oven and given plenty of time to develop both flavour and crust. Many of them are named after the mountains surrounding Voss - because we want our breads to reflect the nature they come from: a little wild and rustic on the outside, but warm, honest and good on the inside.
All our breads are additive-free and contain no milk, soy or nuts.
In our patisserie, our trained pastry chefs create everything from classic favourites to new sweet temptations, always with quality ingredients and craftsmanship at the core.
At Vangsgata 38, we have over 500 square metres of bakery, patisserie, café and shop all under one roof. You can settle in inside among the scent of fresh baking, or enjoy the sun on our outdoor terrace.
Welcome!
Also look out for their pop-up restaurant events. Note! These sell out fast.
