Walk on Rotarystien
Hareidselva runs from Grimstadvatnet to the sea. Along the river and the lake there is a gravel hiking trail, called Rotarystien.
From the fjord to the end at Kaldholen it is about 5 kilometers. You can walk or cycle the whole trip, or do a jump in several other places. At Røysetvegen, a new car park has been made.
Hareid Rotaryclub has developed the hiking trail. They have also built the lean-to huts along the hiking trail. Here you can create a fire and grill, or simply just relax on a bench.
Grimstadvatnet is a nature reserve with rich bird life.
