Walk over Kvalsvikryggen from Fosnavåg
Kvalsvikryggen is an easy hike on top of some rugged cliffs that dives into the Atlantic Ocean. Here you will get a fantastic view towards Runde, Skorpa, Sunnmøre alps and Svinøy lighthouse.
The path over Kvalsvikryggen goes from Golleneset to Mulevika in Kvalsvika, on Nerlandsøy i Herøy Havlandet. The walk is about 8,5 km and 448 height meters. Most people do the walk in about 3,5 hours, but prepare some extra time for the view, breaks and photos!
There are animals grazing, so keep your dog in a leash and don't leave anything in the vulnerable nature. Be conciderate when it comes to animals and birds. You are the visitor here.
In July 2022 there is a boat trip every day to Kvalsvik harbour, from Fosnavåg center. We will pick you up after the trip by bus or taxi.
