Whale and nature safari - with transfer from Honningsvåg if required

Join us on a whale and nature safari around the North Cape, passing three islands with bird life nesting. Spectacular views of the monumental North Cape cliff. Chance of close encounter with whales and seals will make this trip an magnificient experience! This excursion is adjusted to all cruise ship arrivals.

You travel from Honningsvåg to Skarsvåg, the northernmost fishing village in the world. The excursion is guided in English, with stops at scenic views. We also make a stop for you to see the reindeer up close. A visit to the fishing village Skarsvåg where you can experience live King Crab is also included. A small bag of dried reindeer meat, a local delicacy, is served as taste of our magnificent arctic life. You prepare yourself with life vests before you embark our boat and off we go, through the Risfjord to the open sea where the North Cape can be seen. Searching the fjords for our whales and dolphines, visiting the old Skarsvåg bay with possibilities of seeing White tailed eagles, comorants, sea gulls, razor bills and other bird species on our islands. We venture through fjords and open ocean seeing puffins or perhaps the harbour porpoise, before returning to the idyllic village of Skarsvåg.

At the end of the tour we will visit North Cape Experience to see and take photo of live kingcrab.
Here you also have the possibility to eat fresh Kingcrab in the resturant.

Please note: This excursion is adjusted to all cruise ship arrivals, so there will be one shortly after every docking, and you are certain to be back in good time before the ship leaves.

Warm drinks and local souvenirs are available after or before the excursion in our tourist centre.
