When in Norway

Hiking in Oslo is an easy and fun way to enjoy Norwegian nature, whether you are up for snowshoeing in a true winter wonderland, a magic torchlight experience, a peaceful nature walk, or a hiking adventure.

When in Norway is a local company providing group and private tours in the beautiful nature of Oslo. They try to keep it sustainable and green and preserve the nature as it is. To truly experience the magic of the Oslo region, there’s no better way than to slip on your hiking boots, jump on a scenic train ride up to the forest, and breathe in the fresh, crisp air as you take in some incredible views!

The experienced guides will tell you about the local flora and fauna, and the rich history of the woods. On all tours they always make space for breaks to enjoy the views, snap a few photos, and talk about the deep connection Norwegians have with the forest.

The tours start in Kongens gate 14. From there, you will take public transport to the starting point of your hike.

Dress according to the weather and wear hiking shoes. The paths can be wet and slippery.
