Rafting on the Otra River with TrollAktiv offers a thrilling experience for those looking for a real adventure. The Otra, Southern Norway's largest river, is known for its diverse challenges, including exciting waterfalls and Northern Europe's first river surfing wave. Each raft accommodates up to 8 participants plus an instructor, using specially built, self-draining inflatable boats designed for navigating the river's rapids. The highlight of the trip is Syrtveitsfossen, a stunning 8.5-meter drop that makes for a breathtaking sight and an exhilarating ride.
With over 245 km of waterways, the Otra provides varied and exciting challenges for all levels of rafters. TrollAktiv offers two types of rafting trips: the action-filled white water rafting for those over 140 cm, and a calmer family rafting option for children over 120 cm. Both trips are led by experienced instructors who ensure safety and fun throughout the journey. Whether you're paddling through rapids or taking in the surrounding beauty of Setesdalen, this rafting experience will leave you with unforgettable memories.
Ideal for beginners and seasoned adventurers alike, this 2-3 hour rafting trip is available when the river is at its peak flow.
