Namsskogan Mountain Board has right of use and manages 535.000 daa forest and mountain area in Namsskogan, and here everyone is welcome! Hunting, fishing and outdoor life has strong traditions in Namsskogan.
The Mountain Board has 16 cabins for rent and all cottages provide an excellent starting point for great nature experiences, whether it is in the mountains, in the woods or on the lakes. All of the cabins located in relation to the fishing lakes have boat included in the rent. Parts of Mountain Board area is located in the alley Børgefjell national park and here it is an open cabin and a cottage for rental.
Both the cabins is located about 2 km inside the National Park. In the mountains in West direction there are also many natural wonders and both Mellingsvatnet and Storgåsvatnet (Big Goose Lake) is recommended for a visit. Welcome to Namsskogan!
