Seeking a spectacular winter escape? Lace up your hiking boots and embark on a memorable hike high above the fjord, immersing yourself in the captivating scenery of Loen's majestic mountains and enchanting fjords. The Loen Skylift takes you up to 1011 metres above sea level/3316 ft., so you can set off with fresh legs.
Winter walks in the mountains high above the fjord are possible from Loen Skylift. Depending on the weather conditions, we make tracks that are suitable for walking. The trails are marked. Ski goggles and poles can be useful (available for rent). You can also hire a guide from Loen Active (must be booked in advance). Winter coveralls, gloves and boots can be rented from Loen Active.
The snow usually arrives at Mt. Hoven in November and lasts until April/May.
