Wood-fired Sauna at Voss Hostel

This sauna has a picturesque location right next to the apple trees at Voss Hostel and lake Vangsvatnet.

Welcome to the sauna at Voss Hostel!

The sauna is wood-fired and can accommodate a maximum of 10 people. The sauna can be booked for private groups, from 6-10 people, or you can drop-in on selected days. At the drop-in, you use the sauna with other people.

Drop-in is NOK 150 per hour. Loyalty cards are also available for 10 drop-in sessions at NOK 1200. You can secure a place at the drop-in by calling in advance, or you can drop by spontaneously to see if there is space available.

Drop-in is available every Friday and Monday from 16.30-17.30 and 17.30-18.30 - a good start and a good end to the work-week.

Upon request, a drop-in morning sauna can also be arranged - please contact Voss Hostel.

Until 1 June, the prices for 1 hour and 20 minutes is NOK 900 for up to 6 people, and then NOK 150 per person in addition (up to 10 people).

Important to know;
- There is no shower / cloakroom by the sauna, but you can use the shower and toilet by the common area. For summer, a simple outdoor shower will be set up.
-Wear a swimsuit / bikini and always have a towel to sit on. Feel free to bring 2 towels so you have one to dry yourself with.
-Children must be supervised by an adult.
-Drink water to avoid dehydration.
-You can enjoy moderate amounts of alcohol purchased at the reception at Voss Hostel, you are not allowed to bring your own alcohol. Guests who are visibly intoxicated will not be served alcohol. Drunk guests will be asked to leave.
-Glass is not allowed in the sauna.
-Rinse your feet in the water tub that is outside the sauna before entering.
-You are liable for any damage you cause to the sauna during use.
- Show respect for other guests.
