Yrineset is beautifully located in Oldedalen in Nordfjord, Western Norway, right by the shores of Lake Olden (Oldenvatnet). Yrineset aims to offer guests a pleasant experience in the magnificent natural surroundings of Western Norway. At the end of the valley lies the Jostedal Glacier, and the area is surrounded by towering mountains, waterfalls, lakes, and glaciers.

The venue is well suited for events and gatherings for groups of 20 to 150 people who wish to host their occasion in a beautiful natural setting. Yrineset is ideal for company retreats, surprise trips, weddings, confirmations, christenings, birthday celebrations, family gatherings, school trips, reunions, and Christmas parties. The event venue is unique and atmospheric – perfect for those looking for a different and nature-based experience.

At the river mouth, guests can experience an old fishing tradition using a casting net. The fish can be prepared and grilled on site, creating an authentic and memorable experience.

It is possible to arrange activity packages in connection with events, such as boat trips, visits to the stone cave, and other activities in the area. Assistance can also be provided in connecting with catering suppliers suited to the event.

Large parts of the area are covered, so rain and bad weather are no obstacle to a good atmosphere.

Yrineset has been developed over several years by Dagrun and Svein Yri and has grown into a unique experience venue with a strong connection to the water and surrounding nature. Here, guests can unwind from everyday stress and enjoy a genuine nature experience. Around the campfire, it is possible to enjoy traditional campfire coffee while listening to birdsong and the sound of waterfalls – a special atmosphere whether in sunshine or rain. This is truly a rare nature experience.
