Yttervik Farm

Experience the enchanting atmosphere at Yttervik Gard in Beistad, Steinkjer, where the view, unique venues, and hospitality come together to create unforgettable moments. Our surroundings, which include a converted greenhouse and a restored cowshed, set the stage for any occasion.

We host various events such as birthdays, school reunions, confirmations, weddings, corporate outings, and memorials. When you choose to celebrate with us at Yttervik, you can relax as we take care of all the practicalities, including food, table setting, and decorations. You also have the option to add your personal touch to the festive table if you wish.

Our different venues each have their own unique atmosphere and character, ensuring that we always have something perfectly suited for your group and event. Whether you desire a rustic barn experience, a green and lush atmosphere in the greenhouse, or the traditional charm of the Trønder house, we have the perfect spot for you.

Drivhuset (the green house) - a space that transforms with the seasons

The special feature of the Greenhouse is that it changes with the seasons. Here, you can see the wind rustling outside, hear the rain drumming on the roof, feel the sun's warmth on your body, and experience the soothing silence as darkness falls and candles are lit. Whether it feels like a garden party in the summer, experiencing the ambiance as night falls, or surrounding yourself with the Christmas spirit with snow and lights when winter comes to Yttervik, you will always find the right atmosphere for your parties, meetings, and courses with us.

Local and Organic Food with the Taste of Our Own Herbs

We are proud to serve local and organic food flavored with our own herbs. The food is prepared in our own kitchen and draws inspiration from Innherad, Namdalen, and Trøndelag in general. We emphasize using organic ingredients and season the food with our own powerful herbs. Our meals vary with the seasons and available ingredients, and we emphasize the “housewife’s cuisine” and its traditions, combined with international cuisine.

We also offer accommodation on the farm.
