Yttervik, situated in idyllic surroundings by the Ranfjord, offers accommodation a short distance from Mo i Rana’s town centre. The cabins and campsite and the surrounding area is well suited for varied activities for the whole family.
At Yttervik you can spend the night in their great cabins or cozy igloos, right by Ranfjorden. They also have nice spots for motorhomes and caravans. During the summer, you can rent a boat and go fishing, go hiking in the surrounding mountains, or simply enjoy the day by the fjord, relaxing and watching the birds.
Yttervik, situated along highway E6 just 16 km from the centre of Mo i Rana, is open year round. The town of Mo i Rana has many shops and a good restaurants. For families, we recommend a visit to the science centre, Vitensenter Nordland.
Yttervik is also an excellent base for visiting well-known attractions such as the Svartisen glacier, the Grønligrotta cave, the Rabothytta cabin in the Okstindan mountains, and the natural marble formations called Marmorslottet.
Activities
At Yttervik you can rent a boat and go fishing. Kayaks are also available for rent. What better way to enjoy the sunset than while kayaking or boating on the Ranfjord.
Kids will appreciate the well-equipped playground. There is also a minigolf course, a trampoline, billiard tables, SUP-boards for rent and a volleyball court that the whole family can enjoy. How about starting your day with a refreshing swim from the guest dock?
