Best pictures of the week: A perfect night in “The megaphone”

This art installation was given to Trondheim municipality to mark the university’s 100th birthday. It’s also a popular spot for photographers.

At the start of Ladestien, a popular marked trail in Trondheim, sits “Talerøret”, a giant megaphone-like installation, made by architecture students in 2010.

Grete Øiamo climbed into the sculpture in order to take the stunning photo at the top, for which we are highly grateful.

A beautiful composition. Here are the rest of this week’s best pictures (if you have anything to contribute, please send us your photos through our Facebook page):

The sky is burning in the northern part of Troms county. The name of the fjord, Burfjord, originally means “The porridge fjord”. Thanks a lot to photographer Kjetil Haug.

Hennset, Valsøyfjord

Hennset may be a small place also by Norwegian standards, but the nature is grandiose. A great shot, Hans Vidar Rønningen.
