Jeff from England fell in love with Northern Norway. After seeing this video, it’s quite easy to understand why.
Most tourists who travel to Northern Norway are impressed, maybe even overwhelmed, by the scenery, the atmosphere and the lights. Some visits lead to long-standing relationships, where the tourists come back year after year.
Jeff Allen certainly has one of those committing relationships with the area. Now, the English paddling guide has actually made a living out of showing other tourists the spectacular nature and incredible wildlife of Northern Norway.
In this quite poetic video he explains how this love affair came about.
The video was published a week ago and is already seen more than 10,000 times. It’s also been featured on Red Bull’s international blog.
Allen is cooperating with the two Norwegian companies Active Tromsø and Bjørns Kajakk in order to offer trips to Norway where kayaking is combined with whale safari, dogsledding and northern lights sightseeing.
Our guess is that more people will be tempted to see it for themselves after seeing this video, entitled “The Blue Time”. The video is directed by the merited nature and sports photographer Greg Dennis.
PS: This is not the first time that Jeff Allen goes in front of the camera in order to speak warmly about Norway. Here he is in a commercial for Canon.
If you really want to get up close and personal with the stunning Norwegian fjord and coastal landscape, kayaks or canoes are ideal options. Buckle up for a paddling adventure – here are some of the hotspots.
The summer is ahead of us, and both inland and coastal Norway have a lot to offer in exciting activities for those who can’t sit down.
The fjords of Norway will take your breath away, and this video is almost as stunning as the real deal.
American filmmaker Raphael Rogers thought for about 15 seconds before accepting a trip to Norway. The trip of a lifetime, as it turned out. This is the film he brought back.
