The tour starts in the calm waters of the picturesque Brosundet canal with a view of the colourful Art Nouveau buildings - an excellent photo opportunity – before paddling along the fjord to explore the natural beauty of the Norwegian coastline. This activity offers the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation as you enjoy the scenery and the fresh air. A stop can be made, weather depending, either somewhere along the shores of the fjord, or on one of the pretty, small islands scattered around in the fjord.
Duration: 3 hours
Season: May – September
Note: Single or double kayaks on request
If kayaking sounds a bit too energetic, what about taking your team on a cruise and experience one of Norway’s hidden treasures on this roundtrip to the wild and dramatic Hjørundfjord?
The fjord is just off the beaten track, but still situated on the very doorstep to Ålesund. See how the locals (people and goats) live, and experience the striking scenery that Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany valued so highly more than 100 years ago. The fjord cuts its way through the Sunnmøre Alps, which is one of the wildest mountain ranges in Norway. The view of the fjord, surrounded by steep and jagged mountains, is just unbelievable. Go ashore and enjoy lunch at the fairy tale hotel of Union Hotel Øye and enjoy a relaxing day or take a hike to one of the surrounding peaks or valleys. On our way back to Ålesund we can stop at Trandal.
Duration: From 4 hours to a full day excursion
Capacity: There are boats with a capacity from 12 to 30 people
Season: Spring, summer and autumn
Get a taste of this exhilarating sport on a small local fishing boat. Our fishing excursion will take you on an enjoyable ride out to the waters around Ålesund, to some of your Captain’s favorite spots. The catch may include species like cod, haddock, pollack and saithe. The coastline's islands and fjords provide shelter in most weather conditions. Fishing “at the edge” of the town offers not only good waters, but also beautiful scenery. While fishing, you will have some of Norway’s most dramatic landscapes as a backdrop.
Duration: Approximately 3 hours
Capacity: Groups of approximately 12 people per boat
Season: All year

The saga island of Giske has a fascinating Viking history and is a great place to bring groups of all ages.
This tour to the birthplace of the famous Viking Chieftain Rollo, forefather of William the Conquer, and Sire to the British Royal Family, uniquely brings this history together in an adventure tour to the beautiful island. The Viking scene is beautifully located near the Giske Marble Church, dating back from 1150. Here the group will be welcomed by a Viking Chieftain who takes them to “Gildehallen” for a taste of Viking food and to listen to some exciting stories from the Middle Ages. After drinking your mead and tasting the traditional food you can participate in some Viking games before walking over to the church where the fascinating story of the church and “Tavle Jacob” will be told. Later you will board the Viking Ship “Knarren” in which you will be sailing back to the pier.
The tour can also be operated by bus only.
Duration: 3 to 4 hours
