Farm visit with serving and storytelling!

Welcome to the Norwegian mountains where you get to use all your senses. Wednesday in July until 15th of August

- Look at the mountain view.
- Listen to the milkmaid.
- Taste the local Norwegian food.
- Feel the fur of the farm animals.
- Smell the fresh mountain air.

We open the doors to Gamlefjøset and invite you to be served the local typical Norwegian mountain food; Rømmegrøt with everything which comes along. While you enjoy your food we tell you everything about the farm life in the old days and how we do it in modern life. At Fagerdalen we have full blasting and we make our own milk, rømme (like sour cream), butter and different kind of cheeses. We both serve this to visitors and sell those products. Note: We will do our very best to speak English, but we find it a little bit difficult.

You can meet the farm animals and hug them, we can advise you for the best tours in the surrounding mountains, and there is also an opportunity trying fishing in own of the cold lakes, you will need a fishing licence. We accept cash and bankcard.
