The slopes at Geilo are spread across both sides of the valley, and the free ski bus ensures easy access to all areas. Ski passes are valid for all lifts at Geilo and can be conveniently purchased online. The ski season typically runs from early December to mid-April.

Why own when you can rent? Geilo’s ski rental shops are conveniently located near the base areas of Vestlia, Havsdalen, and Slaatta as well as Geilo Ski Shop in the Dr. Holms hotel. All equipment is freshly waxed and well-prepared for a great day on the slopes. Save time and money by pre-ordering your rentals online for a discount.
Geilo offers a variety of ski passes, ranging from single rides—ideal for activities like snowshoe walks or the start of a cross-country adventure—to multi-day passes for extended stays on the slopes.
To minimize environmental impact, we encourage you to check if you already have ski passes from previous visits or other resorts. Look for any Team Axess smartcards you may have. If your pass has a WTP code, you can conveniently upload your new ski pass online and head straight to the lift—no need to queue at the reception.
If you need to purchase a new ski pass, you can add it to your online booking. Once completed, you’ll receive a QR code that allows you to collect your ski passes at any of the ski area's base stations or at select hotels and supermarkets in Geilo’s center.
Geilo’s ski bus service connects the valley’s ski areas, allowing you to explore the entire resort. The buses are free and available to everyone, regardless of whether you have a ski pass. The shuttle runs frequently, every 8–10 minutes, and provides quick transport between Geiloheisen and Vestliaheisen lifts. Additionally, in the morning and after 15:15, the buses also stop at local accommodations.

Geilo Park, developed in collaboration with X Games champion Andreas Håtveit, offers an exciting arena for freestyle enthusiasts. At Kikut, you’ll find two complementary lines designed for pure skiing joy.
