Fagerdalen Støl

Fagerdalen Støl is a traditional summer mountain farm located between Hovet and Bergsjø. It operates with full summer farming, where cows are milked morning and evening, and all milk is processed into products like sour cream, cheese, and butter, served in the café housed in the restored barn.

Fagerdalen has a rich history as the summer farm for the Søre Berg farm, owned by the same family since 1702. The area features ancient stone fences and ruins, showcasing its active past. The farm continues to preserve cultural landscapes while offering authentic mountain farm cuisine.

Opening Hours:

July to mid-August. Group bookings available from June 15 to September 30.
