Geilo - Havsdalen - Prestholt

Biking trip intor the mountains.

Starting from Geilojordet follow the same road as the Factory Tour to Luten. Then follow the signs towards Havsdalen.

When you reach the Havsdalen, follow the road towards Prestholt. You can return by cycling the same way back, or you can follow "Nye Havsdalsvegen" back to Geilo or the trail from Prestholt down to Tuftelia,  and from there ride Ustedalsfjorden back to Geilo.

This trip takes you high up in the mountains, Prestholtseter is superbly located underneath Hallingskarvet south side. It has a living summer farm environment with livestock, serving and selling its locally produced food.

If you go by car for the first steep six kilometers, the trip will be easy and family friendly.

Surface: cart track and fine gravel
