Jakobsplass

Jakobsplass is located 925 meters above sea level in Skurdalen.
Trine and Lars Lilleslåtten have operated the farm since the 1980s, raising around 20 dairy goats. They produce cheese using traditional methods, firing a kettle with wood from their own forest and using milk from their goats, supplemented by cow’s milk from Hamarsbøen when needed. Jakobsplass sells their cheese and other farm products at their on-site farm store.
Main products include Ekte Geitost, a prize-winning brown goat cheese made in a wood-fired kettle; Søtprim, a type of brown cheese with a bit of sugar; and Mjølkeprim, a local tradition from Hallingdal, served thickly sliced with coffee or with fresh waffles or pancakes.
Tour description between the Skurdalen farms can be found when following the link.
